Option 1 : Change Shop Page Title

In order to change the title from “Shop” to any title, you can put below code to your  end of your theme functions.php file (in your theme folder):

add_filter( 'woocommerce_page_title', 'custom_woocommerce_page_title');
function custom_woocommerce_page_title( $page_title ) {
  if( $page_title == 'Shop' ) {
    return "WooCommerce Demo Products";
  }
}

Refresh (F5) Woocommerce Shop Page, you can see it’s changed:

  1. Hi, thanks for the info you shared with us..
    i have a problem ith my woocommerce installation, i coul not translate the shop page title in different languages so i preferred to hide it, but if you know any solution to translate page title and labels in woocommerce please let me know.
    thanks a lot

    It’s not working!

    The correct function is:

    add_filter('woocommerce_show_page_title','woo_hide_page_title');
    function woo_hide_page_title() {
    	return false;
    }
  3.
add_filter(‘woocommerce_show_page_title’, create_function(‘$result’, ‘return false;’), 20);
IS the function I use to strip this. I put it inside a conditional to decide where to apply it if I am removing the WooCommerce title. This was the only way I could make it work with Genesis anyway.

  4. May I simply just say what a relief to discover a person that genuinely knows what
    they are talking about on the internet. You definitely realize how to bring a problem to light and make it important.
    A lot more people must look at this and understand this side of your story.
    I can’t believe you are not more popular given that you surely have
    the gift.
